Corporate social responsibility
Respect for the people we do business with is an important part of our business ethics. We believe that a long-term business as ours can only thrive if it also takes into account the needs of all stakeholders. These stakeholders include people who are indirectly involved by our activities such as farm workers and local communities in origin. In order to safeguard compliance with relevant social standards and regulations, we work according to the SA 8000 standards, which are an integral part of our supplier audits.
The benefits of our business should not be just for our direct partners, but also for other indirect stakeholders as farmers and communities in countries of origin. For this reason, we have founded the Catz Charity Foundation in 2004. This foundation finances a large number of projects to create and promote self-sufficiency and enable vulnerable people to be less dependent on external help.
