Aniseeds is a gracefull annual herb of the parsley family 2 to 3 feet high with feathery leaves and is the source of one of the oldest known aromatic seedslike fruits.
Aniseeds is available as a spice either whole or ground. The whole seed may be used as a flavouring for soups and cakes. Anise leaves can be used as a seasoning or as a garnish for green salads
