Providing safe products is a core responsibility of each of Acomo’s subsidiaries and the most important aspect of our services to our customers. We are committed to providing safe products to our customers everywhere and every time. To ensure the safety of our products we have strict quality control systems in place in for our own facilities and those of our suppliers. All facilities are compliant with food safety regulations and are certified according to standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and BRC.
We understand that food safety does not start at the moment of processing and/or transportation; it starts with the cultivation methods at farm level. Especially the use of chemicals and pesticides is an issue in the supply chains of many of our agricultural commodities. Therefore, we test our products to ensure that the products we sell to our customers are safe and compliant with appropriate regulations. In addition, we take responsibility by training farmers in cooperation with our suppliers.
